       Hello Beauties!

grade: A-

"I laughed, I cried, and I wanted to call my friends and tell them how much I loved them! This movie challenges you to forgive and reveals who matter most in your life. Friendship is something worth fighting for and worth forgiving the unforgivable!  "

Great to see with a group of friends,  your husband, wife, or partner.

Thanks to TalkingwithTami,  I was able to attend The Best Man Holiday advanced screening yesterday here in Atlanta. This movie is an absolute must see! I love how they developed each of the characters after so many years. The Original film, The Best Man, which is a classic in the black community would be tough to follow up and I say they did an awesome job of doing so. The film kind of reminded me of Why did I get Married, a Tyler Perry film as far as the setting, but the content is definitely different. This movie for me stirred up a range of emotions. One moment I was laughing, the next crying uncontrollably. I was trying so hard to keep it together, but once I saw the person to the left and right of me crying as well, I just let it go! If you are someone who cries in movies, or at baby commercials, if you are just emotional like me, BRING TISSUE.

If there was anything I didn't like, was that it started off a bit slow. However it was expected. We haven't seen these characters in a while, so they simply took the time to show what everyone had been up to and who they had become over the years. Also, some parts that would naturally be funny, seemed to be a little forced or dragged on a few seconds too long. Like, to many jokes about the same thing after I was already done laughing about it. Those are my only cons! The chemistry between the cast members is something that doesn't have to be forced. I believed everything I saw and ever emotion was real. Once scene really hit home for me toward the end. I'm not going to spoil anything so I won't mention it. Over all I give this movie an A-. I laughed, I cried, and I wanted to call my friends and tell them how much I loved them! This movie challenges you to forgive and reveals who matters the most in your life. Who your true friends are, and how friendship matters more than what you've been through together! Friendship is something worth fighting for! As much as we like to think we don't need them, we DO! Go see it! It comes out this weekend! So get your tickets now! If you haven't seen the trailer, I've posted it below! Let me know how you love it...or hate it when you see it!
