Hello Beauties!

I have another perfect fall lippie for you! Squash is Lime Crime's NEW (soon to be released) Velvetine Liquid-to- Matte Lipstick. See my review below! Also, click HERE and sign up to be notified when its released. This baby is sure to sell out! I do know that it will be available sometime this month. Don't miss out! On to the pictures are review...

Lime Crime is known for their playful, vibrant variety of colors so I was excited to receive this item for review. Surprisingly, I own nothing from Lime Crime and this was my first experience with the brand. My readers know I tend to keep things (my makeup) on the neutral side, so I have to admit that when I received this color...I was afraid of it. Yes, me the makeup artist!

I'm so quick to slap a bright color on a client but I'm always hesitant when it comes to myself. Needless to say, the color is gorgeous and suits me well. Its vibrant, yet warm pumpkin hue makes it perfect for the fall and brown skin!

Now with any Liquid- Matte lipstick, its important to exfoliate and moisturize before applying to the lips. This helps reduce flakiness and dryness. Is it drying? Yes, but that is to be expected with any matte lipstick. I don't view it as a negative, but as something that comes along with being a Matte Lipstick lover! I deal with it. It also doesn't bother me knowing my lipstick will be stay in place all day long.

The lipstick applied nicely and I love the way it smells. Almost like chocolate! LOL Maybe I'm imagining things, but that's what the scent reminded me of.  I did find that I had to apply about 2 layers to get rid of any streak marks left behind. When applying, you must work quickly because these babies dry FAST! That would be my one and only con.

Do you own any of the other Velvetine Liquid-to-Matte Lipsticks? Let me know what your faves are so I can rack up on a few more! I'll be featuring another Lime Crime lippie soon so stay tuned!

 Until next time,
<3 Bee
