H E Y  B E A U T I E S !

I do a lot of product reviews on my blog and that won't change, however scrolling through my blog one day I realized that I don't share enough of my creative side/ beauty work. Makeup Artistry is my passion, and even though I'm not Sir John (Beyoncé's Makeup Artist) I know a little something. I've been on set doing editorials, tv, I've done countless brides, etc. So I think its time for me to share more of my knowledge and work.

This week I wanted to do a video on Fall Glam. At first I was going to do it on myself, however my friend Bree (BreeLenore.com) was over my house. So we went to work! As you've already seen above, this is the look I've created.

I knew before we started that I wanted to do a deep lip and bring the skin to live. Its starting to get cooler outside, our summer tans are withering away and I wanted to bring life back into the skin in a natural/ glowing way.

As you can see in her before image above, Bree has minor skin discolorations and darkness under the eyes, so I used a peach color concealer to correct those areas before applying her foundation. What foundation? Let me take this time to list the products used on this application...

Skin:

  • Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Primer
  • Embryolisse lait creme (Moisturizer)
  • Black Opal Creme Stick Foundations in Black Walnut (Contour), Hazelnut (Mixed with BW for Foundation), and Rich Caramel (highlight)
  • Sacha Butter Cup Setting Powder
  • Cover Girl Queen Collection Bronzer in Ebony Bronze
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit in Tan to Deep
  • ABH Glow Kit in Sundipped
Eyes:

  • M.A.C Spiked Brow Pencil
  • Lorac Pro Palette
  • Too Faced Holiday Le Grande palette
  • Lashes DM Wispies on top of 215's
Lips:
  • M.A.C Nightmoth Lipliner
  • Gold Label Cosmetics Lipstick in Dark Children
I've got a video for you as well. See the transformation yourself below...

More transformations are coming your way as well, so get excited!

Until next time,
-Bee
